Jillian and Ursula clean up at the show!
Jillian and Ursula had their best ride of the year at a local 4H show and won the most humongous trophy I have ever seen. It is over three feet tall. Boy, those 4H’ers sure know how to make a person feel special! They had the highest score at Training Level at the show. The next stop for the horse and rider is state. Good Luck!
Angel is sold!
Angel is sold. It looks like we found a great match of horse, rider, and trainer. Angel had just reached the point where she understood that riding is fun. For a little bit of work guarantees her lots of affection, treats, and grooming. Once a young horse figures what they get out of the relationship, they are so much easier to get working properly. Happy trails to all of them!
Enjoyable Dressage
One of the more common comments about watching dressage is that it is like watching paint dry. The biggest exception to this blanket statement about dressage is the freestyle competition. It is always a crowd favorite. Here is one of the best examples dressage freestyle that I have ever seen. The link below will take you to a video clip hosted on YouTube. Enjoy!!

Concerto in Training with Andi
Here is a picture of Concerto being worked at the trot by Andi. Our plan was for Jillian to show him in the four year old class but her horse stepped on her foot and tore off her toenail.
Whimsy is Back!
Whimsy has come back from Ron Liming and is ready for work. We have integrated him into our training schedule and will be starting him off with some basic rhythm and relaxation work at the walk, trot, and canter.
